Back in 2012, Mark Buchanan started working in social lettings and found a love of finding people new homes and decided to move into estate agency. Having worked for both local and national estate agencies, Mark became disillusioned with the poor level of service that was being offered by most agents, as well seeing people paying up front for a service that was never delivered. In 2020, Mark created Mark Buchanan Property Group with two main aims: to provide the best marketing to help get the best price, and to offer a personal service to alleviate some of the stress often associated with buying and selling properties.

By utilising modern technology and marketing techniques, we help to get the best possible price for a property, whilst making the whole process as easy as possible, thanks to our personal approach.

After working for a local independent and Purplebricks, Mark decided to join eXp to be able to provide the service and marketing that homeowners deserved. Since then, the business has grown massively, mainly through recommendations from our happy clients. Within eXp, Mark has received the ICON award four years in a row, as well as receiving the award for the number 1 agent for sales globally twice. Being one of the top agents within eXp has led to Mark being asked to speak on stage in Las Vegas, Lisbon and Birmingham, to help estate agents around the world to grow their business. Mark is an Accredited Advanced Negotiator, ensuring that you get the best price for your property.

Julie Glaister-Buchanan

As well as being wife to Mark since 2008, they have worked together for the past few years to create the 5-star business that you see today. You’ll often speak to Julie when arranging an appointment, or when viewing a property. Julie is literally the glue that holds the team together.

Once your property photos have been taken, Jack provides the magical touch to make the adverts look amazing. From photo editing, video creation and social media posts, Jack makes our properties look their best to drive up demand and help get the best price.

Amy Clark

Office Support Superstar

Unofficial niece to Mark & Julie (actually our nephew’s partner), Amy joined the team in 2023. Amy has came on leaps and bounds since being with us and is a brilliant asset to our team. As well as booking appointments and showing buyers around properties, Amy does a lot of the ‘behind the scenes’ admin and generally keeps Mark organised.

Aliyah, or Leah, is our first non-family member of the team. With a track record of providing exceptional customer service, Leah has won over our clients with her bubbly personality and warm smile. She genuinely cares about our clients and always goes the extra mile to make sure that the house moving process is as stress free as possible, which is shown in the feedback we receive

Bailey Buchanan

Bailey joined the family business in late 2024. After breaking his arm as a teenager, he told a nurse that when he grows up he wants to be a property professional like his dad. Whilst working towards a qualification as a Junior Estate Agent, Bailey is working closely with the rest of the team to
help provide a great service to our clients.

Claire has over twelve years of experience in Conveyancing, having previously worked for local solicitor firms. As a former conveyancer, she is aware of the legal process of buying and selling property and helps to keep our sales on track by keeping in touch with solicitors, other estate agents and our clients. In her spare time, she likes to walk, eat out with friends and spend time with her family. One day she dreams of owning a holiday home in Lanzarote.
